Restoran Tuck Kee @ Ipoh

Restaurant Tuck Kee is located at Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Old Town Ipoh. The restaurant offers limited dishes like Wan Tan Hor, Yu Kong Hor, Hokkien Fried Hor Fun, Fried Udon, Braised Yee Mee, Bean Sprouts, Braised Chicken Feet, Meat Ball Soup, Baby Octopus in Soy Sauce and Braised Egg & Bean curd in Soy Sauce. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived around 6.30pm and started to  filling up very fast around 8pm therefore be early if you don’t want to wait for the table. The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable for dine-in. I ordered Small Wan Tan Hor, Yu Kong Hor, Baby Octopus In Soy Sauce and 1 Hot Chinese Tea and 1 Herbal Tea.

Baby Octopus in Soy Sauce was sweet, fresh, and cooked well. The sauce goes well with the Baby Octopus.

Yu Kong Hor was nice. Raw egg on top of fried Kuay Teow and mix it fast while the Kueh Teow is still hot so that it will give the fried Kuay Teow a lovely flavour.

Wan Tan Hor was awesome. Every single mouthful was yum. Best among all the Wan Tan Hor I had ever tried.

Overall, it was a wonderful dinner. The foods are delicious but the waiting time for the foods can be 20-30 minutes during the peak hours so be patient and wait for their delicious foods.
