Deciding what to eat in Genting Highland was a big headache. Limited choices of foods and lots of people complaint to avoid some particular restaurants. So to come with the decision on where to eat is pretty hard. After a couple of round at First World we finally decided to have our dinner at Kenny Rogers Roasters as we were confident enough that their food won't be bad. Kenny Rogers Roasters Is located at First World, Genting. The restaurant was quite crowded with people when we arrived there around 4.30pm. The ambiance of the restaurant was a bit dull and they need some bright lighting to have a warm and comfortable feeling. I ordered 2 Quarter Meal and 1 Chicken Mac & Cheese Spaghetti.
Quarter Meal is served with 2 Rice and Beans.
Quarter Meal is served with Coleslaw, Mac & Cheese and Rice. The chicken was tender and goes well with the Black pepper gravy. The black pepper gravy has a good hint of pepper taste and the gravy was thick compared to some other outlets where their gravy is so dilute.
Quarter Meal @ RM 25.07
Chicken Mac & Cheese was yummy. I requested to have more sauce and they gave me a small bowl of cheese sauce to have with the spaghetti. Happy! Every spoon was so cheesy.
Chicken Mac & Cheese @ RM 24.37
It was a good dinner for us before Casino. Friendly service but the foods are served cold and I was expecting something hot to have in the cold weather. Price difference RM 4-6 between KL and Genting.
