Kopitiam Yuan Kee @ Bentong
We drop by at Yuan Kee Kopitiam Bentong for breakfast before our journey to Fraser's Hill as this Kopitiam is recommended by the bloggers for breakfast. Therefore, we waze for the location since we are not familiar with the location. It took us about 15 minutes from the highway to reach the Kopitiam. They have no signboard of the Kopitiam so just look for the building photo I posted. The restaurant serves mixed rice, Chee Cheong Fun and Wan Tan Mee. According to my friend, they are famous for their Wan Tan Mee and Chee Cheong Fun. So we ordered Wan Tan Mee and Chee Cheong Fun. Kopitiam was full house when we arrived around 8.30am and we have to share table with strangers. Be quick with your breakfast as people will be waiting next to your table for your place.
Chee Cheong Fun was simply delicious. It is one of the best Chee Cheong Fun I ever tried before. Their Taufu was fresh and the sauce was superb. I loved their sauce.
Fried Wan Tan was crunchy and tasty. Dip them in the soup and enjoy it.
Wan Tan was nice.
Wan Tan Mee was okay. Noodle still has a floury taste and the sauce don't goes well with the noodle for me but I saw almost every table ordered this so I will let you guys to decide whether to give it try or not.
It is a must drop by place for their Chee Cheong Fun. Be patient to be seated or take away. We even take away their Taufu and sauce for steamboat later at Fraser's Hill.
