Aunty Manju's @ Taman Tun Dr Ismail

Saw this place full house while I was having coffee at Starbucks, TTDI so went there the next day for dinner. Aunty Manju's is located next to Starbucks, TTDI. They serve Banana Leaf Meal and other South Indian foods like Thosai, Chapati, Idly, Roti Canai and Appam. The restaurant was busy when we arrived so we walk in and find our own table to seat. The ambiance of the restaurant is Semi Opened concept which is something unique for an Indian Restaurant. We ordered 3 Banana Leaf Meal.
Banana Leaf Meal is served with 3 types of vegetables, Rice, Papadum, Curry (Chicken, Fish and Dhal), Rasam and Pickle. It was just a mediocre Banana Leaf for me. The chicken curry was good but the vegetables are a little salty and the rice was so sticky that was so unpleasant to eat.
Banana Leaf Meal @ RM 8.50
It was just a medicore dinner for us. Maybe we should order something like Thosai, Chapatti and Appam like most of the customer as I think that must be good from what I can observe from the crowd. Friendly service.
