We planned to have Breakfast at Warung Ibu Okra as it is the most recommended place in Bali to try their Babi Guling and our driver told us that it only opens at 9.30am so it will be good to drop by at 10am. At 10am, our driver picked us up at the hotel and we straight went to Warung Ibu Okra for breakfast but there was a surprise waiting for us there that we were unaware of. Yeah .They only opens at 11am in the morning during low season and the Babi Guling was not ready yet. We have no choice but to change our plan to have Breakfast at a different restaurant as we can’t be late for our temple visit. I asked our driver to bring us somewhere for us to have a good breakfast and he brought us to Bebek Joni "I Made Joni" and we were okay with it. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and she asked us where we would like to be seated and I choose to sit at a table that is overlooking the Paddy Field. The Restaurant was empty when we arrived but according to the driver it will be crowded for lunch. The environment was amazing. I loved enjoying the foods in this kind of relaxed and calming environment. After going through, we ordered Crispy Duck, Nasi Campur Bali and Hot Chocolate.

Crispy Duck tasted similar to the Bebek Bengil but it was not oily. It was perfectly fried until crispy layer of skin while sealing soft and juicy meat inside. I loved it. I even finish the whole plate of it.

It was okay breakfast & lunch for us. The food was okay, but the service was lousy. It was very difficult to get their attentions as they are busy chit- chatting with each other’s. But the highlight is their gorgeous environment that I loved.
