Guide To Bali- Executive Summary Of Our 5D4N Bali Trip

Bali is a popular destination among young people, Honeymooners and people who want to escape from their busy life and enjoy the relaxing and calming environment. For me it is a perfect place for relaxing, meditation or even for a spiritual experience. Therefore, me and my boyfriend celebrated our 5th Anniversary in Bali. Sounds sweet right!!

Day 1

1pm: Lunch at MCD, KLIA Airport (Weird)

We tried their Chinese New Year promotion (Prosperity burger) at KLIA Airport while waiting to Board the flight. They are also having a FREE SUNDAE promotion if you pay using Debit Card or Credit Card to settle the bill. We like to have MCD at Airport whenever we travel.

3.10pm-6.10pm: Kuala Lumpur- Bali, Indonesia

I really enjoyed my 3 hours journey to Bali. Fully occupied myself with foods and movie while on board. Bought a flight ticket from MAS Airline on October, RM 917.80 for 2 people. Sounds cool right!! Really a perfect gift from my boyfriend. Thank You Baby :D :D

8.30pm: Dinner at Bebek Bengil- Dirty Duck Dinner @ Gianyar, Bali 

Most recommended restaurant in Ubud, Bali for their Duck. Service was excellent, gorgeous environment but the Cripsy Duck was a bit oily for us. It is located 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel (Tegal Sari Accommodation)

Booked this hotel on November to secure a room. I was interested in wooden room but unfortunately it was fully booked so I have no choice but to go for superior room. If you are looking for a calm and relaxing environment with friendly and first class service, this is the place for you. Everyday was welcomed by the beautiful sunrise and ended with the gorgeous sunset by the Paddy Field. This place is also near to the Monkey Forest and have lots of Warung & Restaurant nearby from Indonesian Foods to Western Foods. 

Total Spendings: IDR 1,320,000/RM 403.95 IDR 300,000 per night with 10% tax= IDR 330,000/RM 100.99

Day 2

9.30pm: Flying Fish @ Tanjung Benoa, Bali

Our driver drop us at Wibisana for watersport. We were attracted to the Parasailing but due to the bad wind conditions,  we cant go for Parasailing therefore we choose Flying Fish Bali. It was very fun and adventurous although it cost us BOMB IN OUR WALLET. Overall the experience was very worth it as it is our first time playing it.

11pm: Lunch @ Bumbu Bali, Nusa Dua

Yummylicious food and best service. My most recommended restaurant to try at Nusa Dua, Bali and I think it really deserve to be on the top list although it is little pricey but it’s all worth it.Thumbs up!! My advise please try it yourself.

1pm: Pandawa Beach, Bali

Gorgeous beach that was hidden among tourist and only known to the locals. I must thank our driver for bringing us here. We were amazed by the beauty of the beach. Crystal clear and blue water. "MARVELOUS" was the first word that come out from my mouth once I saw it.

 4pm: Uluwatu Temple

A beautiful place to see Sunset in Bali and I was really attracted to the Turquoise Blue color ocean. I just love relaxing myself admiring the beauty of the place and the ocean. I do get tanned/sun burn.

 8pm: Dinner at Ubud, Bali (Near Delta Supermarket)

Had our dinner at one of the local favorite place at Ubud, Bali. Eat Mee Ayam and Bakso and Take away their Sweet Corn, Pork Satay, Murtabak, 2 Bottles of Beers and 2 Can Drinks to have it at Hotel.

Day 3

8am: Breakfast @ Tegal Sari Accommodation 

I ordered Breakfast from our hotel as my Boyfriend insist on having breakfast before our trip. It was delicious breakfast with the amazing Paddy field View. Best to welcome rest of the day ( I always believe In having delicious breakfast will brighten my day. Weird Right!! But it works sometimes) Hahaha..

Nasi Goreng: IDR 27,500/ RM 8.42 + 10% Tax : IDR 4,750/ RM 1.45 
9.30pm: Barong Dance 

The show last for 1 hour 15 minutes. Good if you have any spare time and love to watch the classic Indonesian Show. I loved their acting skills that was full of expressions and beautiful body movements especially the dance by the 2 lovely ladies.The only drawback was the show is spoken in Balinese Language so we don't understand what is being said and 90% of the crowd is probably tourists who don't understand Balinese language. But wait,don't need to be worried as everyone will be given a piece of paper with story written in English on it so you can refer that if you are lost.

11pm: Tirta Empul Temple

Popular Destination for tourist for spiritual experience. Nothing much to explore other than to take purification bath at this ancient sacred Balinese Temple and take a dip in the holy water. But I must say that I really admire the clean & pure water in the Holy Water and Holy pond. Amazing!!

12.30pm: Abian Kusuma Sari, Agrowisata 

Our driver drop us at Abian Kusuma Sari, Agrowisata to try Coffee and Tea in Bali. This is a must stop attraction for coffee and tea lovers like myself and you will get a opportunity to try different locally grown and flavored coffee for free and if you wanted to try LUWAK COFFEE it will cost you IDR 50,000/RM 15.30

Stunning Valcano Mountain, I would recommend to have lunch at any Warung Or Restaurant to admire the view instead of just taking the picture from the roadsides .You will have more time to amire and enjoy the beauty of nature like us. Yeah!! We spend 2 hours at this place by just admiring the nature.

4pm: Tegallalang Rice Terrace

They just harvested their crops and in the midst of planting new crops so I didn’t get to enjoy the place as much as I hope to. On my way to Tegallalang Rice Terrace, I saw a lot of small rice terrace and authentic village that are much more better than this.

Must try place in my Bali list after having them in Malaysia and it never fails to impress me. Good!!

Normal breakfast overlooking the Paddy Field but the service was lousy and it seriously need improvements. Just manage to fill our hungry stomach here.

Nothing special about this place but the surrounding was nice. If you are first timer to Bali and wanted to see some Balinese Architecture then you can drop by.

1.30pm: Tanah Lot Temple

Beautiful scenery temple that you must visit in Bali, Indonesia. I would recommend to spend minimum 1-2 hours here to slowly cover the entire place while admiring the beauty. It is one of the best place in Bali that you need to see and explore it yourself.

 3pm: Lunch at Chinese Warung & Gloria Jean's Coffee, Tanah Lot

If you wanted to have some Western Food in Tanah Lot, you guys can definetly consider Gloria Jean's Coffee.It is one of best option for reasonable priced foods in the most popular tourist area (Tanah Lot).

Gorgeous place for Western Food in Bali. Everything was great from their service to the foods. Best experience in our vacation and simply amazing. My most recommended pace for Western Food in Bali.

After our breakfast at hotel, it is time to say BYE BYE Bali and back to the reality world in Malaysia. That's all. We ended our Anniversary Trip with precious memories.
