Raj's Banana Leaf @ Bangsar

Raj's Banana Leaf, one of the crowded restaurants in Bangsar for their Banana Leaf Rice. Therefore, we decided to drop by their restaurant for late lunch. Raj's Banana Leaf Rice is located behind Tous Les Jours, Bangsar. They serve Banana Leaf Rice and other mamak dishes as well. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived, so you get a chance to choose your own place to sit. Once seated, the staff took our orders. We ordered 3 Banana Leaf Rice, Chicken Varuval, Iced Limau Juice and Teh O Ais. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and it is an open-spaced concept restaurant.

I loved to have Teh O Ais for Banana Leaf Rice. For me, both are good to have together.

Chicken Varuval was yummy. The meat was juicy and well flavoured with spices. The best thing about the dish is they cut it into smaller pieces so that its easier to eat. Hahahaha!!
Chicken Varuval @ RM 8
Banana Leaf Rice was good too. All their side dishes are delicious and my favourite would be their Taugeh and Fried Gourd Snake. Their curries are just medicore but when you mix Fish Curry + Chicken Curry together it tasted okay for me. Fish Curry has too rich garlic taste rather than fish taste.

It was a good lunch for us. Everything was good except their curries need some improvements in my opinion. Good & fast service.
