“TOM YUM SOUP OR TOM YUM NOODLE” is always a best choice to have for dinner. Imagine having a comforting bowl of Tom Yum Soup in the cold and breezy weather. So syok right!! Therefore, we decided to have our dinner at Restaurant Gou Lou that is located at Damansara Utama. It attracts us with their Signboard “Famous Fish Head Noodle & Tomyum Seafood”. They serve Curry, Tom Yum, Soup Noodle and some rice dishes too. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived at 7pm yet we find our own place to seat. Once seated, the staff gave us the menu to browse through. We ordered Fresh Fish Head Tom Yum Noodle, Dumpling Kuey Teow Soup and Fish Paste Ball Tom Yum Noodle. The ambiance of the restaurant is good to have dinner.
Fish Paste Ball Noodle was super duper yummy. Spicy Tom Yum Soup is perfect to have on a chilly day. Moreover, Fish paste ball goes well together.
Fish Paste Ball Tom Yum Noodle @ RM 10.90
Kuey Teow Dumpling Soup was clear and flavourful. I ordered Dumpling Kuey Teow Soup but they only left with 2 piece of dumpling so the staff changed my order to 2 Piece of Dumpling and 2 piece of Wanton. Fat and meaty dumpling is irresistibly delicious. I think I just need 2 dumpling to feel full.
Kuey Teow Dumpling Soup @ RM 8.50
Fresh Fish Head Tom Yum Noodle was served with generous amount of fish slice and it is fresh too. Be aware of tiny bones in the fish. In addition, I prefer to have with Hor Fun rather than having it with Bihun as Bihun absorb all the Tom yum Soup and it became dry at the end.
Fish Head Tom Yum Noodle @ RM 11.90
It was a perfect dinner for us. Delicious and spicy meal, we even ordered an additional Soy Bean drink as the Tom Yum Soup was very spicy which I like. I love spicy Tom Yum Soup!! I never thought that there will be a restaurant in Damansara Utama that will be selling a delicious Tom Yum Noodle (A little hidden gem for me).
