Restoran Jaipur Mahal @ Kuala Lumpur

I most crave for a home cooked meal when I am not feeling well therefore my sister brought me to Jaipur Mahal for lunch. Jaipur Mahal is located at Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. They have their own car parking for the customers so you guys don’t have to worry about the car parking. Great right!! We were greeted at the entrance and we find our own place to sit. They have both Ala-cate and Buffet for lunch. We prefer to go for the Ala-cate food. We ordered Sadha Chawal (Basmathi Rice), Mutton Soup, Yera Thoku (Prawn) and Fish Pepper Fry. It was crowded when we arrived at 1pm and even filling up soon later on. Most of them in the restaurant go for their lunch buffet. The ambiance of the restaurant was gorgeous inside although the exterior was not so impressive. Then I remember the quote “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. Hehehe!!
This was a complimentary starter while waiting for the food.
Mutton Soup, a recommended dish from the staff as well as they don’t have Crab Rasam. Mutton Soup was tasty and good to warm up the stomach before the meal.
Mutton Soup @ RM 6.90
Fish Pepper Fry is not in the menu. A special dish recommended by the staff when we requested for a spicy fish dish. It tastes wonderful and spicy.
Fish Pepper Fry @ RM 21.90
Yera Thoku (Prawn) was super duper yummy. Medium sized prawn cooked in flavoured and spicy thick gravy. Delicious!! Both of us loved it. Yummy!!
Yera Thoku @ RM 21.90
Sadha Chawal (Basmathi Rice) @ RM 4.90
Overall, it was a super good lunch for us. Everything is perfect from the food to the service. Both of us loved it. Second Visit? A Big YES from us. Sure, drop by again to try their Lunch Buffet in the future.
