2D1N Ipoh Trip Itinerary - Food Tour

My sister friends came over to visit us in Ipoh. Therefore, we brought them around Ipoh to show them all the best food Ipoh has to offer. IPOH, a well-known state in Malaysia for its hawker fare. Some of the popular foods are Dim Sum, Bean Sprouts, Salted Chicken, Nasi Ganja, Hor Fun, White Coffee, Chicken Rice, Caramel Custard and etc. Yeah, we tried all these foods from their famous restaurant in Ipoh.

Day 1

Breakfast: Yee Fatt Curry Mee, Jalan Kampar

I have breakfast with my family at Yee Fatt Curry Mee before picking them up from Railway station. Yee Fatt, one of the must try noodle in Ipoh and I can guarantee that you guys will never regret.

If you are looking for a super amazing lunch at Ipoh,this is the place to be. The foods are simply delicious and they have maintained the taste and quality over the years. Definitely, a must try when you are in Ipoh. Be ready to wait in the long queue!! Happy waiting :P

Dessert: Llaollao, Ipoh Parade

Brought her friends for a walk at the Ipoh parade in the late evening. We usually go here for movies. Bought Llaollao Ice-cream while exploring the shopping mall. Yeah, Llaollao Ice-Cream is available in Kuala Lumpur but, it's a talk of the town in Ipoh.

Dinner: Restoran Ong Kee

I tried most of the Ayam Taugeh in Ipoh and I personally prefer Restaurant Ong Kee for their soft and juicy chicken. The foods are simply delicious. We had 1/2 Chicken, Taugeh and Hor Fun. Chicken & Taugeh as usual the best, I guess I don’t have to further explain it. Definitely, a must try place in Ipoh.

Day 2

Breakfast: Thean Chun Coffee Shop

It’s one of the must visit old coffee shop in Ipoh. Must try their chicken & prawn Hor Fun and caramel custard. Perfect!! My friend who is not a dessert lover commented that it’s so yummy (Caramel Custard).
