Thai Chi Bistro @ SS2

Thai foods are my favourite and so do for my sister so we usually hunt for yummy Thai food. I have tried several restaurants before and this round my sister and myself decided to try Thai Chi Bistro which is located at SS2 (Same row with the Maybank). We were greeted at the entrance and we find our own place to sit. Once seated, the staff gave us the menu. After flipping through the menu, we ordered the Spicy Tom Yum Soup, Mango Sticky Rice, Thai Grilled Pork Skewers (5pieces), Prawn Rice Noodle Stir-Fry, and Thai Ice Tea. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived at 11.30am and it was filling up later on. The ambiance of the place was good to enjoy the meal.
Thai Milk Tea is my must order in any Thai Restaurant. Delicious!!
Thai Milk Tea @ RM 5.90
Thai Grilled Pork Skewers (5pieces) looks unattractive when it was served on the table but we were so wrong, it was absolutely gorgeous. Then I remembered, “Don’t judge a book by its cover “Pork skewers was tender and so juicy and it was full of meat instead of pork fats.
Thai Grilled Pork Skewers (5pieces) @ RM 16.90
Prawn Rice Noodle Stir-Fry was tasty as well. I miss those I had in Thailand. It looks small when it was served in our table but when we mix it together with their crushed peanuts and sauce; WOW, it turns out to be a big portion for us.
Prawn Rice Noodle Stir-Fry @ RM 14.90
Spicy Tom Yum Soup was yummy as usual. There are huge mussels, prawn and mushroom in the soup.
Spicy Tom Yum Soup @ RM 16.90/Rice @ RM 2
Mango Sticky Rice tastes so-so. Mango was not sweet enough and the sticky rice is too dry. We have given our feedback to the staff about this, hopefully it will be better in our future visit.
Mango Sticky Rice @ RM 10.90
Overall, it was a good lunch for both of us. Excellent service, nice environment, and good food. Second visit? Why not?
