Lily's Secret Garden Cooking Class & Restaurant

The newest addition to my travel list, go for COOKING CLASS in every new country I visit. Hahaha!! This round, I choose Lily's Secret Garden, Cooking Class after going through a couple of other options. I booked directly through their official website and it cost me USD 24/RM 98.09 They have 2 options to choose from Cambodian Morning Cooking Class and Cambodian Afternoon Cooking Class. I choose Cambodian Afternoon Cooking Class that includes Free pick up/drop off from Hotel, Cultural visit to a local produce market and welcome drink & tea with the meal. The best thing about the Lily’s Secret Garden Cooking Class is that it is a private cooking class with a maximum of 6 people.
I was picked up by a handsome Belgium guy in Tuk Tuk from the hotel and we had quite a good conversation along our way to pick up other people from their hotel. Once he picked up everyone, we went to the local market to buy vegetables for our class. He is very personable and did a great job in explaining the different fruits/veggies in the market; the cost and etc.
After done with the shopping, we went to his lovely home and he introduced us to the young Cambodian Chef, who taught us how to prepare three dishes, a green mango and chicken salad, chicken red curry and a yummy banana in the coconut cream dessert. It was so much fun to learn about new dishes and I really enjoyed it. I prepared everything from cutting vegetables to a complete full course meal. My food was delicious, ample and authentic. I would highly recommend this class to everyone! Thanks to the Chef, I manage to improve my cooking skills.
